French Montana and Jim Jones Squash 15 Year Beef on Instagram Live

It was a huge moment in New York Hip-Hop history Thursday night. French Montana and Jim Jones hopped on Instagram live and buried the 15-year-old hatchet.

“15 YEARS OF BEEFING ENDED UP WITH LAUGHS AND WAR STORIES ?BIG MOMENT FOR HIP HOP SHOUT OUT TO @jimjonescapo #thatsafact,” French captioned a clip of the Instagram live session.

They even spoke about collaborating and fans couldn’t help but rejoice in the comments.

Their beef doesn’t have an exact timeline but it dates back to the mid-2000s when Capo and Max B were good pals. They eventually fell out over alleged bad business then Max linked up with French, who already had his own beef with Jimmy. A couple diss tracks were thrown back and forth but the beef never peaked.

Presumably, because Max got locked up for charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit murders related to an incident in a hotel room in 2006.

The rapper’s 75-year prison sentence was reduced after he accepted a plea deal for the sole charge of aggravated manslaughter. Although he doesn’t have a definitive release date, all his original charges on his 12-count indictment, including first-degree murder and first-degree robbery, will be dropped.

“This proceeding was not a question of my guilt or innocence, but about the bad advice, poor judgment, and overall ineffectiveness of my trial attorney,” Max said in a statement via his publicist.

Next step, reconciliation between Jim Jones and Max B?
