Fans Accuse Diddy of Shutting Down Lizzo’s Twerking On Live but Not Draya

In the name of quarantine, almost every celebrity has been keeping themselves entertained with IG Lives full of fans. First Tory Lanez, Lil Boosie, Reginae Carter, and now Diddy has joined the IG Live lockdown, wave.

However, Diddy may not be on everyone’s happy side after being accused of “fatphobia” following Diddy’s choice to stop Lizzo from twerking on his live but not stopping Draya. On the hip-hop mogul’s live, Draya gave a quick twerk session to Juvenille’s “Back Dat Azz Up,” and wasn’t interrupted what so ever. When singer, Lizzo got on live with the Bad Boy, she began to twerk for a few seconds before being stopped by the rapper who stated, “Woah Woah Woah. Stop the music, Its Easter Sunday lets play something a little bit ‘family-friendly.’ It didn’t take long Lizzo stans to build the narrative that Diddy was fat-shaming. “This was horribly fatphobic because Draya did the exact same thing and no objections were made,” one fan tweeted.

Diddy took to social media to clear up the misconceptions. “There’s one thing that I wanna make clear,” he stated.  “My queen, my sister, Lizzo, when I stopped the music, it’s because it had a lot of curses in there. Not because she was twerking. She’s one of the best twerkers in the world, okay? So let’s keep that clear. It wasn’t about twerking. You’re allowed to twerk on Easter. There was a lot of cursing on the record and I don’t need child services knocking on my door right now, you understand?”
