Barack Obama Endorses His ‘Friend’ Joe Biden’s Presidential Bid

Barack Obama finally endorsed his friend and former Vice President, Joe Biden’s, Presidential bid as expected.

“Choosing Joe to be my vice-president was one of the best decisions I ever made, and he became a close friend,” Obama said. “I believe Joe has all the qualities we need in a president right now.”

Obama has been relatively quiet these days, playing a role behind-the-scenes, but speaking out on coronavirus-related issues. But on Tuesday morning he proudly tweeted the 12-minute endorsement, and the timing couldn’t be any more perfect as Biden is the last major Democratic candidate left.

“Through all his trials, he’s never once forgotten the values or the moral fiber that his parents passed on to him, and that made him who he is,” Obama said. Brad Parscale, campaign manager for President Donald Trump’s reelection bid, said that “now that Biden is the only candidate left in the Democrat field, Obama has no other choice but to support him.”

Parscale is confident Trump will “destroy him” and it’s honestly hard to tell. Make sure to vote this Fall and research voting alternatives amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
