Atlanta Rapper Lil Marlo Dead At 27

Rising Atlanta rapper, Lil Marlo, was found dead Saturday night.

The news was broken by fellow Atlanta rapper, Lil Yachty. According to the post, the duo had just done a song at four o’clock in the morning.  “We just did a song a 4 this morning smh rip brother @lilmarlo_1.”

Details still remain unclear about the cause of his death. Some suspect that Marlo was killed.

Lil Marlo was a recent QC label signee. He is most known for his songs “1st N 3rd,” “F**ckem” and “9 + Z6ne = 1’5.”He was close friends with fellow QC labelmates, Lil Baby. Both of them broke into the industry back in 2017. He was also featured on the QC “Control the Streets Vol.1” and Vol.2 tapes.

Upon hearing news of Marlo’s death, fans took to social media to send their condolences.
