Young Thug’s Kids Threaten To Harm Gunna In New Song Snippet
Young Thug and Gunna‘s relationship is still uncertain to the masses, despite recent comments from Gunna saying they are on good terms. As for the people around Thugger, namely his kids who threatened to harm the One Of Wun rapper in a new song snippet, their feelings are much clearer.
“And Bentley a rat he keep leaving states,” one of the Atlanta rapper’s children rapped in a video shared on Instagram. “And Gunna get whacked if he don’t leave L.A.” The visual showed three children dancing in front of the camera, one of which was shirtless and holding up money stacks. Another kid, wearing pink sweatpants, held his hand in front of the camera as if he was wielding a gun.
It is unclear whether King Slime gave his children the green light to make this song and shared this type of energy. However, people believed that this type of behavior was detrimental to Thug’s current YSL RICO trial. “Them kids ain’t doin Thug no favors,” one fan commented with three facepalm emojis. Another person felt this was indicative of where Hip-Hop currently is. “This may be one of the lowest moments I’ve ever seen in rap…..damn….,” they wrote.
Another fan felt that Young Thug’s kids acting this way was a result of how he operates as a father. “They say apples don’t fall too far from the what? Js,” they wrote. Young children have more access to information and the internet than ever before in this current era, thus yielding them a lot of autonomy. It will be interesting to see if the Business Is Business rapper ever shares a statement on this diss track.
In April, Gunna gave a brief update on his relationship with Young Thug. “It’s the same,” he told XXL. “It’s love, always. Our relationship is our relationship.” He also spoke about rappers like Lil Baby and Lil Durk who have been actively promoting the idea that he is a snitch after taking the Alford Plea in December 2022. “None of those rappers, they’re not on the case,” he said. “They don’t know legally what’s going on.”
One of the biggest signs that the YSL ties may not be as strong came in June 2023. Wunna released his album A Gift & A Curse and one week later Thug shared Business Is Business. A slew of rappers and producers, namely Drake, Future, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott, promoted the project heavily and were featured in it. Gunna joined in on the promotion but was noticeably absent from the tracklist. Listeners also believed that Thug dissed him on the track “Jonesboro” when he rapped, “Ni**a told and hе was my homie, I can’t miss him/ Ain’t nobody feel him.” Listen below.
