Tyler, The Creator Dazzles Nia Long In “Darling I” Music Video Feat. Teezo Touchdown
Tyler, The Creator falls in love again, and again, and again, in his self-directed video for “Darling I” featuring Teezo Touchdown. The California musician’s stunning line of love interests includes Nia Long, WILLOW, Ayo Edibiri, Lauren London, and Chase Infiniti, as he rhymes through his complicated relationship with monogamy.
Each woman gets a piece of the 34-year-old, specifically his literal, beating heart, a graphic testament to the depths of the Grammy-winner’s commitment.
“Everybody’s different, you know? And it’s not just sex. I get different things from different people, and I want you to explore, too,” explained Tyler, The Creator in the self-reflective track.
“Darling I” is featured on Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA album, issued in 2024. The chart-topping work was named one of VIBE’s top Hip-Hop releases of the year. With 14 tracks all produced by the rapper, CHROMAKOPIA features Daniel Caesar, Lil Wayne, Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Doechii, ScHoolboy Q, and more, and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard charts.
The vulnerable album was followed this year by DON’T TAP THE GLASS, which also debuted at No. 1.
“yall gotta stop doing this. everyone tho. it hasnt been 10 hours, just let it be what it is,” explained Tyler, The Creator after fans compared the two releases. “a fun short upbeat urgent braggadocious album to a diary post about abortion and hair and aging and whatever else i was crying about lol……please just let it rock if you rock with it and if you dont then move the damn on lol.”
