Lyfe Jennings Drops Muni Long Diss Song, “Made For This”

Lyfe Jennings is beefing with Muni Long. Yes, you read that correctly.

The feud started when the “Hrs & Hrs” singer called Jennings a “hatin’ a** n***a” based on his 2004 classic ballad, “Must Be Nice.” The two went back-and-forth before Muni ultimately apologized for her comment.

However, that didn’t stop the Ohio-bred crooner from getting in the booth to record a diss track over the instrumental for her Grammy-winning hit, “Made For Me.”

In the 90-second diss titled “Made For This,” Jennings began the record in the same manner as he did on “Must Be Nice.”

“A yo you,” he quipped, “It’s this hatin a** n***a again.” As he softly sang “must be nice,” he then talked about her trauma while giving her some advice.

“The smell of your trauma/ Is all over ya Prada/ Your shoes Balenciaga/ But your spirit’s givin Benihana,” Jennings crooned. “I think I’m due a little respect/ Been in this s**t for 20 years/ Did you forget?/ Twin, where have you been?/ Nobody knows you like I do/ You strong, Black woman/ Talented too/ I can’t deny it/ I would never try it.”

He acknowledged her apology, but claimed she was “lying.”

“You from the same place made your dreams come true/ Just keep on growin’ using your gift/ You were made for this,” he continued. Jennings concluded the diss by addressing Long directly. “Muni Long, you was made for this. Whatever you goin’ through baby, put it on paper. We need you,” he stated.

She’s subtly responded to the diss with a video of her cackling and sipping tea on her Instagram Stories. Listen to the full diss above.
