Latto Announces Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour With Special Guests Mariah The Scientist And Karrahbooo

Following the release of Latto’s newest album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, Live Nation has announced her North American tour of the same name kicking off this October.

The Grammy-nominated rapper will be hitting 22 cities including Nashville, Washington, D.C., Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Toronto, Houston, Las Vegas, and more, with special guests Mariah The Scientist and Karrahbooo.

The tour kicks off on Oct. 25 before wrapping on Dec. 7.

Sugar Honey Iced Tea — an ode to the 25-year-old’s Southern roots — was released on Aug. 9 to a ton of positive reviews. The 21-track LP shows off Latto‘s raw rap skills as well as her vocal ability with musical assistance from southern artists including Megan Thee Stallion, Ciara, Coco Jones, Young Nudy, Flo Milli, Hunxho, Teezo Touchdown, and Mariah The Scientist.

The album also includes her popular singles “Big Mama,” “Put It On Da Floor,” and “Sunday Service,” with the latter offering an additional remix by Flo Milli and Megan Thee Stallion.

During the album release party for her third studio album, Latto reportedly said, “I feel like what I’m doing has not been done before, so let’s start there. [Aesthetically], I’ve been pulling from Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, and Lil’ Kim.”

She added, “[Musically], I’ve been pulling from Kelis, but obviously with a Southern Hip-Hop twist. They have very feminine energy, but masculine in the sense of confidence. I feel like they was boss bi**hes. It just gave ‘I’m that girl.’ When you hear and see them in that prime era, it gave ‘I’m here to stay.’”
