Drake Reveals He’s Working On New Album During Livestream With Adin Ross

Drake may be riding high off the success of $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, his collaborative album with PartyNextDoor, however, the perennial hitmaker is already back in the lab and currently working on new music.
During a livestream on Kick in partnership with digital gambling platform Stake, Drake revealed to guest Adin Ross that he’s actively in the process of recording of new album and is proud of the songs he’s created thus far.

The Canadian also expressed appreciation to the supporters of his and PartyNextDoor’s album, as well as the fans making the trek to London for his headlining set at the upcoming Wireless Festival in July.
“Shout out to everybody that’s been showing us love, though, for real. On every song. Shout out to everybody that’s coming to Wireless [Festival]. We love you so much,” the 38-year-old said of his OVO loyalists.

Elsewhere during the stream, Drake and Ross gambled via Stake, which Drake partnered with in March 2022.
“Drake has been an active member of our global community for a few months now, so the next step and natural evolution in the relationship was for us to collaborate on a stream,” said Stake co-founder Ed Craven, per SBC Americas.
“We share the same love for crypto, gambling and community and are like-minded fans of the technology and culture at the forefront of this movement.”

The Honestly, Nevermind creator has quickly gained a reputation as one of Hip-Hop’s biggest gamblers today, winning and losing millions of dollars in one fell swoop on various occasions.
Drizzy also gave insight into his own view of his catalog, choosing his 2013 album Nothing Was the Same, and his experimental 2022 album Honestly, Nevermind as the bodies of work he’s most proud of.
Released in February, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U was a massive success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and becoming one of the most streamed musical projects of the year thus far.
