DaBaby Claims Best Rapper Alive Title In New “Squabble Up” Freestyle

Billboard Women in Music 2025
DaBaby is back with yet another crazy freestyle with some help from a recent Kendrick Lamar favorite.
A video of DaBaby’s Justin Credible Freestyle premiered on Monday (Mar. 31) as the Power 106 Los Angeles show celebrated its 200th episode. The Charlotte emcee rapped on songs from BossManDLow (“I got a Drake in the club, I hope they ain’t playing no Kendrick right now”) and a remixed version of Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.,” but it was “Squabble Up,” that stole the show.
“On these ni**as head they got a migraine, f**k her brains out, won’t call her back, I’m playing mind games,” he began, with a rapid-fire flow that fans have come to love. “Might wanna plan they funeral, thinking bout taking my chain, won’t need no ambulance f**k around with my aim, leaving a ni**a DOA, ni**a want me to squabble up, won’t even let him throw a punch, f**k around and shot em up. Rest in peace to Muhammad Ali, step in here and step on a beat, you better get the hottest for me, in a Tesla truck with a choppa to see, ni**a.”
Toward the end of the song, Justin and DaBaby commemorated the milestone episode with a champagne toast. During this moment, the “Shake Sumn” rapper declared that he’s the “best motha f**kin’ rapper” out and challenged other emcees to step to him on the microphone.
This isn’t the first time DaBaby went up to Justin Credible’s show and set fire to the microphone. In April 2024, the controversial rapper freestyled over both “Like That” by Metro Boomin and Future and then Sexyy Red’s “Get It Sexyy”—another video that went viral.
