Fans mostly praised the exchange with one tweeting, “Now that’s how you move—no ego, just pure power moves. Big respect for making space and backing the queen.” Although, one person did chime in, teasing, “Mariah Carey and Doja dropping. And taylor swift sweeping the week after. He better wait til Christmas.”

Cardi’s Am I The Drama? is her long-awaited sophomore release since her 2018 Grammy-winning debut album, Invasion Of Privacy. The new LP includes features from Summer Walker (“Dead”/”Shower Tears”), Selena Gomez (“Pick It Up”), Kehlani (“Safe”), Lizzo (What’s Goin On”), Cash Cobain (“Better Than You”), Lourdiz (“On My Back”), Tyla (“Nice Guy”), and Janet Jackson (“Principal”), per the official tracklist which was unveiled early Thursday (Sept. 18).

Megan The Stallion will also appear on the LP on the previously-released hit record, “WAP.”

When speaking on the album’s title with CBS Mornings, Bardi admitted that she “didn’t think [she] was that much drama.” She joked about being voted “Most Dramatic” back in high school and explained that “certain things follow certain people.” The rapper added, “When you have a big personality like me or when you have a mouth like me or whatever aura that I give, it will follow you because it makes you an easier target.”

The soon-to-be mother of four later confessed that she doesn’t like drama because of the stress.

Am I The Drama? is out at midnight ET. Check out the latest single, “Imaginary Playerz,” below.
