Chris Blake Griffith Defends Stance in Stefon Diggs Lawsuit

Stylist and influencer Chris Blake Griffith has found himself at the center of a high-profile legal conflict involving NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs. While Griffith recently reached a settlement in a separate lawsuit against the athlete’s brother regarding allegations of physical assault, his own legal proceedings against the football star remain active. Amidst a concurrent defamation suit filed by Diggs, Griffith is pushing back against public perception that his actions are motivated by financial gain.

In a recent interview, Griffith addressed the criticism surrounding the case, including public remarks made by Cardi B. When asked about the narrative that he is simply looking for a payout, Griffith was firm in his rejection of the claim. “I’m not worried about no money,” he stated. “I never demanded a dollar amount, I’m not demanding a dollar. Do it look like I’m worried about money?”

Seeking Accountability Over Financial Gain

Griffith emphasized that his pursuit of legal action is rooted in a desire for accountability rather than a settlement check. He described the ongoing litigation as a necessary step to address the events that allegedly occurred at his residence on May 29. “When I say somebody got to pay, I ain’t talking financial,” he explained. “Justice really got to be executed within full form. So somebody got to be held responsible. It’s not a dollar amount that can change my mind.”

The stylist also touched upon the personal toll of the situation, noting that he had previously attempted to resolve the matter privately. “I tried to give him a pass a couple of years ago, thinking that it was something that he would apologize for and move on past,” Griffith said. “He kind of gave me his a** to kiss. Which is why we’re operating in the realm of litigation that exists currently.”

As the legal process continues, Griffith expressed confidence in the judicial system. “In the regard of court, I feel validated. I feel vindicated. I feel like the truth is gon’ shine bright,” he added. For now, the public and the legal system await further developments as both parties prepare for the possibility of a trial before a judge and jury.
