Destin Conrad Announces Second Leg of ‘wHIMSY’ Jazz Tour

Destin Conrad is heading back on the road. The Grammy-nominated singer has officially announced the dates for the second leg of his intimate jazz tour, promising fans another opportunity to experience his unique sound in a live setting.

The eight-city run is scheduled to kick off on July 17 at the Music at the Intersection Festival in St. Louis. From there, the tour will make stops in Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh, and other key cities before concluding on July 30 at the Rumba Cafe in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets for the upcoming performances are set to go on sale this Friday, May 1, at 10 a.m. local time.

This tour serves as a direct extension of Conrad’s support for his alternative jazz project, wHIMSY, which was released in 2025. The project arrived just four months after his Grammy-nominated debut, Love On Digital. Reflecting on the creative process, Conrad described wHIMSY as a personal passion project, noting, “It is an off-the-cuff, free idea. This is something I’ve always wanted to do—from my years in the Jazz Choir during high school to now, having the opportunity to release this project and reinventing what jazz means to me.”

The project features a stellar lineup of collaborators, including James Fauntleroy, Terrace Martin, Keyon Harrold, Ambré, Vanisha Gould, and Astyn Turr. Building on the momentum of the original release, Conrad dropped wHIMSY! on April 10, a deluxe edition featuring six additional tracks. “wHIMSY! picks up where the original left off, just with more movement and more play. It’s me leaning further into how jazz and R&B speak to each other,” Conrad shared.
