Remy Ma Sends Shot At Claressa Shields On New Connie Diiamond Song “Head Tap”

Remy Ma decided that she had done enough talking and would now address Claressa Shields, her ex-husband Papoose’s new girlfriend, on wax. The 45-year-old rapper subtly sent shots the boxer’s way on Connie Diiamond’s new record “Head Tap.”

Remy handled the second verse on the song and wasted no time getting down and dirty. “You number two and you mad I’m the one bi**h/ It ain’t my fault you a dusty and bum bi**h/ F**k I look like arguing with a dumb bi**h/ And why would I fight you when I got a gun bi**h,” she began, referencing the many times Shields has offered to square up with the Bronx rapper.

“Switch on my body, I don’t lack h*e/ I ain’t one of these little rap h*es, I really clap h*es/ And I’m going, going back, back to prison when I catch h*es.” Both rappers appeared on the hook, and Diiamond’s outro for the song referenced Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Not Like Us.” Listen below.

Outside of the drama, this is a major intergenerational collaboration for the Bronx rappers. The “Conceited” artist is one of the most respected female lyricists, and Diiamond has been working her way up the food chain for some time. The fact that this song is now woven into a public feud between well-known names could help her visibility in the long run.

Nonetheless, Remy and Papoose’s public tension has been ongoing for over a year. Pap filed for divorce, claiming that his former partner had multiple affairs. Soon after that, he began dating multi-time boxing champion Shields. This past May, Remy addressed Shields directly via Instagram for inserting herself into the former couple’s issues.

“If you just turned 30 and allegedly just met someone 8 months ago that is 47 years old that I knew since you were 10 and was married to them since you were 13. and he has 4 biological children, one age 28 but will be 29, one age 25, another age 24 but will soon be 25, and a 6 year old baby and currently promising you a newborn while FINALLY agreeing to divorce 18 hours 54 minutes and 3 seconds ago, please refrain from speaking,” she wrote.

Shields replied by saying she would continue to speak her mind freely, still had intentions of starting a family with the “Counting Green” rapper, and would welcome her to their cookouts so long as she behaved.
