Giannis Antetokounmpo Speaks Out After NSFW Twitter Hack
Giannis Antetokounmpo went through a pretty traumatizing experience on Twitter yesterday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo might be one of the nicest NBA players off the court, but on the court, he is an absolute menace thanks to his freakish athleticism. He is one of the best players in the league right now and because of his high profile, he is a target for harassment. In fact, Giannis’ Twitter account was actually hacked yesterday and the hacker made some incredibly crude tweets that featured racist language and some particularly crass comments on Steph Curry’s wife, Ayesha. The hacker even said some incredibly disrespectful things about the late Kobe Bryant.
Eventually, Giannis caught wind of the situation and his Twitter account was taken down then eventually brought back up. The tweets were promptly deleted and last night, Giannis issued a lengthy apology where he referenced some of the things that were said. He also made sure to apologize to the Curry, James, and Bryant families who were all referenced during the hacker’s rampage.
Eventually, fans were able to track the hacker down on Twitter, and justice was served. As soon as you say something bad about Kobe Bryant, you’re in for a rude awakening and that’s exactly what happened.
As for Giannis, well, he better get himself a much stronger password moving forward.
