Steve Kerr has had enough of President Donald Trump’s hypocritical stances.

Steve Kerr has been one of those sports figures who isn’t a afraid to speak up when they see injustice or feel strongly about a political opinion. As of right now, the entire country is looking at what is going on in Minneapolis and are trying to make sense of all the factors at play. For those who don’t know, a man named George Floyd was murdered by a police officer and now, protests and riots are happening throughout Minnesota.

President Donald Trump called out the protesters and called them “thugs” which got many upset. In a recent tweet, Kerr called out Trump’s blatant hypocrisy and also called the commander in chief a racist.

“In 2017 Trump called kneeling NFL players who peacefully protested police brutality ‘sons of bitches.’ Last night he called Minneapolis protesters ‘thugs.’ This is why racists shouldn’t be allowed to be president,” Kerr said.

Kerr certainly isn’t the only person who feels this way and the protests are a prime example of that. Thankfully, wheels are in motion for Floyd to get some justice. For instance, the officer who killed him, Derek Chauvin, has been arrested and charged with third-degree murder. The other officers involved will also most likely be facing charges.
