The NBA has been gearing up for the start of the NBA season.

Ever since the NBA had to shut down amid the Coronavirus pandemic, the league has been looking for solutions in regards to re-opening. Of course, they want to do it safely and they want to make sure there is as little risk for the players as possible. For now, it seems like everything will take place in Orlando, Florida which is acting as a bubble city of sorts. Only 22 teams will be returning and there will be eight regular-season games before the playoffs.

Originally, the NBA was targeting a start date of July 31st but now, they are opting for something just a tiny bit sooner. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the NBA is hoping to get players back on the court as soon as July 30th. It’s a one day difference but for fans this almost an eternity at this point.

Numerous players have voiced concerns in regards to the bubble city and some have expressed a desire to have the season completely canceled. Not to mention, some players believe it’s wrong to come back now especially with the protests going on across the United States.

A lot needs to be determined before players hit the court again so stay tuned for all of the latest updates as we will be sure to bring them to you.
