YFN Lucci Turns Himself In To Atlanta Police On Murder Charges

According to a CNN report, Rashawn Bennett aka YFN Lucci, turned himself in to Atlanta Police last night after a days-long manhunt for the ATL-based rapper for his alleged involvement in the murder of 28-year-old James Adams in December. Police also believe that another man, whose wounds were not fatal, was shot in the same shootout in Southwest Atlanta.

Bennett is being held in Fulton County Jail in Fulton County Jail on charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, participation in street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He is being held with no pending bond.

Bennett’s attorney Thomas Renolds said in regards to his surrender, “The presumption of innocence is a fundamental constitutional right for every citizen. Beyond this, we have no further comment at this time.”
