Sean Kingston to Launch Professional Boxing League for Rappers

Sean Kingston is looking to explore avenues for revenue. He is taking his talents beyond music as he is reportedly starting his own professional boxing league for rappers.

(Where was this when Soulja Boy wanted smoke with Chris Brown?!)

It is reported that the boxing matches will be up and running before the NBA season begins in July. The fights will be held at Sean’s home and hopefully will expand to boxing gyms

Teaming up with Triple The Mogul, a well-known agent in Hip-Hop, Kingston is creating the Professional Rapper Boxing League (PRBL) and several rappers are reportedly down to support the business once the league is established. Maybe we will see a match come to light sometime soon.

Sean was inspired to launch a league after he began hosting boxing events at his Hollywood Hills mansion and rap artists such as YK Osiris and Lil TJay took part in the playful sparring.

With the success of hosting events, Sean was able to catch the eye of wealthy investors. According to The Blast, various combat sports companies such as Top Rank and Zuffa LLC, the company that created the UFC with Dana White, support the boxing league.

In a verbal agreement, YK Osiris, Lil TJay and Trippie Redd are down to be one of the first few people to agree to the fights.

The fights will continue to be on Instagram Live for now but we’ll see how big this thing gets.

The rapper and the mogul have personally invested in themselves to make this dream come true. They have both invested $10 million each and have raised nearly $50 million for PRBL in total donations so far.
