RZA vs DJ Premier is the Next Instagram Live Producer Battle
Verzuz is doing it again with another legendary producer battle. This time, Swizz Beats and Timbaland locked in RZA to go head to head with DJ Premier.
The battle will take place Saturday, April 11 on Instagram live. RZA is known for his production with the Wu-Tang Clan while DJ Premier is credited for production on classic albums like Nas’ Illmatic, and Gang Starr’s No More Mr. Nice Guy.
This is just the latest edition of what has been an amazing moment in hip-hop history. We’ve already seen Scott Storch Vs. Mannie Fresh, T-Pain vs Lil Jon, The Dream vs Sean Garrett and more. The battles have locked in more than 230,000 viewers at a time to hear the songs that defined generations.
RZA and DJ Premier are two of the staples of the 90’s sound, so it should be incredible to relive some of the records that made that era the Golden Age of Hip-Hop.
