Lil Wayne Releases First Post-Pardon Single “Ain’t Got Time”

Weezy F Baby and the F is for Federal Freedom. Lil Wayne is a free man and is back to what he does best, rapping. In the opening bars of his new release “Ain’t Got Time,” Wayne addresses the situation that is now behind him.

The new single features Fousheé and evokes a bit of rockstar Wayne as he croons just as much as he sings on the track.

Ahead of the release of the track, Wayne’s lawyer revealed that his support of Trump during the 2020 election played no part in the pardon.

“It never hurts that someone gets a full understanding of an individual when they’re just looking at a piece of paper,” attorney Bradford Cohen said. “In hindsight, I guess it worked out.”

He added, “I think they had a very strong connection. He’s in the entertainment world. He’s got a style that’s similar in terms of the way that he carries himself, and a lot of rappers and people in the industry relate to that.”
