JR Smith Beats Man Who Allegedly Damaged His Truck
Former Cleveland Cavaliers guard and NBA Champion JR Smith joined protests in Los Angeles over the death of George Floyd. Returning to his car a man allegedly damaged his truck leading to him kicking the man.
TMZ Sports captured the video showing Smith swinging on the man once he stood up and he eventually ran away. Smith states he parked his car in a residential area and not near any stores where looting was going on.
“I chased him down and whooped his ass,” Smith said in a video explaining his actions. He would also state he did not hit the man due to him being white.
“This ain’t no hate crime. I ain’t got no problem with nobody who ain’t got no problem with me. It’s a problem with the motherf—ing system. That’s it,” he said.
