As long as GOD recognizes the blessings that I bring people, I will continue to be blessed. I'm not perfect but my heart is genuine.

“I haven’t had a chance to come out and really talk to the world, talk to the people because I’ve been dealing with a lot as far as dealing with the loss of the mother of my children. She was a significant other, a great woman, a great person,” Floyd says about his late ex Josie Harris, who his shares three children with.

“Dealing with [the loss] of a great trainer, a uncle, a father figure Roger Mayweather,” he speaks on his late uncle, a fellow champion boxer who was his trainer for over 15 years.

“I’m affected by this. It hurts to see what the world is going through. But I want us to stick together and keep believing.”

He continued and went on to assure his contribution to the COVID-19 pandemic, declaring his acts of charity will be discreet ultimately solidifying his position as a humanitarian.

“But I am here to help this world become a better place. With everything going on, I’m gonna continue to do my part and I don’t have to show the world what I’m doing. I can do something behind closed doors,” he said. “It’s not about the money and the money that I will be giving up will be to feed the people and help the people that don’t have a lot as of right now in this situation. I will continue to give back and I will never talk about it. As long as God knows I’m doing a good deed, that’s what is important to me.”

The video comes approximately a month after the passings of Josie Harris and Roger Mayweather. Floyd has not necessarily been in complete silence. He has shared old flicks of himself, Josie, and their family with captions of endearment including “My Angel,” “My Heart,” “My Love” along with dedication posts to his late uncle who was also known as “Black Mamba.”
