Drake Reportedly Films Music Video Ahead of ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Release
Certified Lover Boy is allegedly on the way.
Back in August 2020, Drake dropped the first single to his highly anticipated upcoming project, Certified Lover Boy. He then promised that the project was slated to release later in the year. Unfortunately, the OVO CEO needed to have knee surgery and focused the rest of 2020 on his recovery. Last month, the OVO camp released a statement saying any album-related news will be posted by The Boy himself.
Well on Monday, March 1, DJ Akademiks took to Twitter to give some Certified Lover Boy updates of his own. He cites The Boy as his source of information.
“Drake told me to sit tight n relax,” he tweeted. “he said that ‘Whats Next’ record is just a ‘warm up ting’. He’s working overtime creating this next masterpiece… CLB on da way… fr.”
He goes onto to add that something is allegedly dropping this week.
“He also told me he shooting some videos.. prollly drop something this week. The Goat is back. Aubrey Champagne Papi Drake Graham.”
Akademiks proved to be right. Drake reportedly was spotted on Monday shooting visuals. There is no word that the video will be for CLB, but fans should look forward to it. It looks like DJ Akademiks is the latest, trusted Drake source.
