Cardi B Interviews Bernie Sanders About Joe Biden Endorsement, Coronavirus Pandemic
Cardi B goes on Instagram live from time to time and says the things that a lot of us are thinking, especially in regards to the coronavirus pandemic. She was joined by Bernie Sanders and asked him a ton of questions.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper asked the Senator about the economic crisis that will be a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Trump administration’s mishandling of the situation. “They put capitalism, money, trading, goods, before our health,” she remarked while holding back tears.
Bernie made it clear that after he suspended his 2020 Presidential bid, he endorsed Joe Biden because his main goal is to keep Donald Trump out of office for a second term. Trump is to my mind the most dangerous president in the modern history of America,” Sanders explained. “This is a guy who lies all the time, he doesn’t believe in science, he downplayed this whole coronavirus which has led to the deaths of many thousands of people unnecessarily, he doesn’t believe in the Constitution, he thinks he’s above the law. This is a bad news guy who needs to be defeated.”
Sanders also assured that he’ll be assisting Biden with becoming a “more progressive” candidate and fulfilling some of his missions like canceling some student loan debt, raising the minimum wage, and providing affordable higher education for all.
