Blueface Gets Dragged for Asking for ‘George Floyd Discount’ in Furniture Store

Blueface documented his journey to the furniture store via an Instagram story on Friday, June 5th. The LA rapper was spending a bag on a new luxury table set, rug, and mirror, tallying up the amount to over $36,000.

Trying to make light of the situation, which was a distasteful joke, he was shocked at some of the prices while shopping and asked for a “George Floyd discount.”

“Aye, y’all tell them to give me that George Floyd discount, cuh,” the “Thotiana” artist said in a since-deleted post to his Instagram story. “I need that Black Lives Matter discount.” But no one screenshots/screen records faster than The Shade Room:

Black Twitter caught wind of what he posted and they let him know exactly how they felt about his “joke.” He claimed he saw a different perspective of the protesting that resulted in people being shot with rubber bullets, being teargassed, tasered, and much more while demonstrating police reform.

It seemed like the rapper was taking his stance on May 30th when he wrote, “No Justice No Peace,” but some speculate he is just doing it for clout and to seem “Woke.” Time will truly tell if he is really sincere.
