112 Will Be Missing Two Members for Their VERZUZ Battle with Jagged Edge

After a stellar outing between Beenie Man and Bounty Killer, VERZUZ is reloading for a Memorial Day edition with R&B groups 112 and Jagged Edge.

The complete group won’t be on hand for 112 as Daron Jones and Quinnes “Q” Parker announced they will sit out.

“Thank you for the outpouring love and support,” both members shared on Instagram. “It is incredible and we appreciate how much of your heart and soul you have poured into our careers. We are simply blown away by the passion you have for our music. But unfortunately we will not be participating in the upcoming Verzuz with Jagged Edge due to an ongoing legal issue that is not settled.”

The issue stems from a 2019 lawsuit of the two by Slim for trademark infringement, deceptive trade practices, and false advertising.

According to Bossip, Slim owns the 112 name and stated the other two were working under the name for independent bookings.
